1. Who we are
ROSTAN F&B Consultants (“ROSTAN,” “we,” “us”), is the controller of the personal information described here. Privacy contact: contacto@rostan.com.mx. A Spanish-language notice (Aviso de Privacidad) governs our obligations under Mexican law.
2. Information we collect
Only what you type into the “Request information” form: name, company, city, phone number, email address, type of business, service of interest and any message you choose to include. We do not ask for sensitive information (health, financial account numbers, government IDs, etc.). Please don’t include it in your message.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to your request, contact you about your operation, and prepare and follow up on a proposal for ROSTAN’s services.
- We do not use your information for advertising, mass marketing or profiling. If we ever wish to send you newsletters or updates, we will ask separately and you can decline.
For visitors in the EU/UK, our legal bases are your consent (the unticked checkbox on the form) and taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
4. How your request is sent
This site does not store your submission in a database. Submitting the form opens your email app with a prepared message, and it reaches us when you send it. Your email provider and ours therefore take part in delivering the message.
5. Sharing — we do not sell or share your information
We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Only service providers acting on our behalf (email and website hosting) may handle it, or authorities when legally required.
6. Cookies, local storage and tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, web beacons or pixels. Fonts are served from our own site with no third-party connection. Because nothing tracks you, there is nothing to opt out of, and browser signals such as Global Privacy Control have no tracking to switch off.
- Local storage (strictly necessary): if you use the language switch, your browser stores a key called
rostan-langwith your choice (“es” or “en”) to remember it. It stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and you can delete it any time in your browser settings. - Server logs: our hosting provider may automatically log technical data about a visit (such as IP address, date and page requested) for security and operation.
- Third-party sites: links to LinkedIn and other sites are governed by those companies’ own policies.
If we later add non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before activating them.
7. Your rights
- Mexico: access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO), plus withdrawal of consent. You may also contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
- California and other U.S. states: where applicable, the right to know what we hold, to correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information.
- EU/UK: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email contacto@rostan.com.mx with your name, a way to reply, and the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
8. International processing, retention and security
We are based in Mexico, so your information is processed there. By submitting the form you ask us to respond to you and understand that this involves transfer to Mexico. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, or as the law requires, and then delete it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
9. Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new “last updated” date.
